Hi all,
I've got a string in perl equals to $v1 = "22h23m34.56s"
I want only the integer part of $v1, i.e., 22h23m34s
So I tryed
($v2,$v3) = split ( ".",$v1);
$v2 = $v2."s";
and
($v2,$v3) = split ( "\.",$v1);
$v2 = $v2. "s";
and the result is that $v2 is always "s" only.
I'm not an expert; but what am I doing wrong?
Best regards
