Ok, this may be crazy, but here goes.
First, is it possible to run a cgi script from a CD?
Second, can that cgi start an executable that is resident on the CD?
Thanks in advance for any help.

if you're using a linux system, you could just mount the cd into the web tree and use it as you would anything else...you could mount the cd at /home/user/public_html/cd-bin/ or something |

There might be some software available to provide a CGI interface to the user though, which would be installed on the CD... If not then maybe it should be done |
