Just thought I would share this for you, as I found it interesting:

Stats for June 2002 wrote:

MS Internet Explorer - 92.1 %
Netscape - 3.3 %
Unknown - 2.3 %
Opera - 1.7 %
Konqueror - 0.3 %
OmniWeb - 0 %
Lynx - 0 %
Links - 0 %
LibWWW - 0 %
WebZIP - 0 %

The problem is that these stats can't exactly be called representative of the average visitor out there, since 4WebHelp draws more techies than anything else (which might influence their choice of browser).

Now here are the OS stats:

Quote:
Windows XP - 28.5 %
Windows Me - 22.4 %
Windows 98 - 21.1 %
Windows 2000 - 15.7 %
Windows NT - 2.9 %
Windows 95 - 2.9 %
Mac OS - 2.6 %
Unknown - 2.5 %
Linux - 1 %
Sun Solaris - 0 %
FreeBSD - 0 %
Windows 3.xx - 0 %
NetBSD - 0 %
Unknown Unix system - 0 %

Note: when it says 0% it doesn't mean nobody using that OS visited, since the numbers are rounded.

I'm not worried Andrew Smile I would be though if everyone did the same Smile I know Opera users identify by default as IE... Luckily Netscape identifies as itself!
