Hi,
I know how to find stuff in files using *grep, but how do I do find and replace on Unix? Moving sites between hosts, and I need to correct all paths... and doing it manually isn't fun  |

So you don't have a copy of Windows anymore? If you do, I know of a program that'll do it. |

Yes I do, but I don't want to waste time downloading everything to my hard drive on a dial-up connection, making te changes and then uploading again...
however I'd be interested to hear of any Windows programs that would do this kind of thing, as I haven't yet found any that will search through a directory nd its sub-directories replacing things in the files. |
