Content Publishing System

Well I am looking for a few content publishing system(s) free or paid, preferably free in Perl or PHP.
I looked at MovableType free, pMachine free, newspro, b2,...............
I need something more advanced with lot more features.

pmachine is something i dont want coz it connects to mysql db and display info. i am looking for something that publishes, generates static pages.
for movable type i am unsure if/how more attributes can be added, if this can be achieved easily I can easily hack it to suit my needs.

well i am looking for something atleast 5 times more powerful than MovableType and its nowhere near to that. The only option i see presently is to hack MT for my needs, but i dont know how one can add attributes to posts there Sad

is that all? aren't there any other content publishing systems.

if not please help find a tutorial on how I can add more variables/attributes for a record in movable type
