Again not strictly a PC in the IBM compatible sense of the word, but:
Quicksilver Power Mac G4
PowerPC G4 867MHz
640MB RAM
60GB Hard drive
DVD-RW/CD-RW Combi
Firewire, USB
NVIDIA GeForce2MX
Mac OS X 10.1.4 / Mac OS 9.2
Apple 17" LCD Display

No worries, I "accidentally" blew up my ram, and as my supplier gives me a lifetime gurantee on it, he didn't have any 128MB chips in stock, so he gave me a 256MB chip for no extra cost. |

IBM Thinkpad 380z laptop
- 300Mhz Pentium 2 with speedstep thingy.
- 96Mb RAM
- 4Gb HD
- Some wierd S3 laptop graphics thingy, shares memory with system, does the job though.
- 13.3" TFT screen at 1024*768, excellent
- Floppy & 32x CDROM integrated
- Xircom (now Intel) PCMCIA 56k modem + ethrenet card
- the nipple, or touchpoint according to IBM's promo dept, and the usual bits & bobs.
- Win 2000 & Redhat Linux, custom modified by Uni.
Second hand, cost me just over 200 Euro.

My computer is Dell one. It has an Intel i3 processor, 4GB RAM and 3 GB hard. My machine is speed. I can work as easier and quicker. |
