Hi - anyone willing to help a computer illiterate??

Hi,

I'm a bit of a fraud, I just need some help. I need a POP email address, and was opening one with Portland, however, I got a bit suspicious as not all the links were working, and before I rang to activate it (wondering if I was going to be charged a few hundred pounds for a dodgy phone number) I decided to do a search on them. I found you, and noticed you don't seem that impressed with Portland.

So my question is, do I go ahead and activate? Or do I go elsewhere, and if so any recommendations?

(Don't even know what a POP email account is!! there I've admitted it!) Embarassed
