What is the best way to back up a phpBB discusson board's database? Do you recommend the backup feature in the Admin control panel, or should I go straight to my hosting's phpAdmin and download the database? Or some other alternative?

phpBB's backup feature will probably produce the same file as phpMyAdmin anyway, so you may as well just do it from the phpBB admin panel. |

I would backup from both locations to be safe.
So
1.) Backup from PHPBB Admin Area using them tools.
2.) Backup by downloading the PHPADMIN Database.

Backing up BOTH would be best,don't want to take any unneeded chances. |
