I keep getting odd error 404s...requesting formmail.pl, FormMail.cgi and other variations...this is weird as I've never had that script on my site...anyone know why this may be happening?
and there's no referrer btw. |

Yes, it's someone trying to spam using a FormMail script. There is a known bug in some older versions of FormMail which enables you to send mail to anyone you want. Spammers are trying all the servers they can find, and seeing if formmail is installed. If it is, they usually use it for spamming. |

oh...I see, you'd think they's get the idea after the first lot of error 404s, but then again spammers are dumb  |
