Hi,
I run a crypt() function and i get nack a MD5 encruption, instead of a standrad DES which would be just 13 characters.
Is there a way to modify the crypt() function to get standrda DES encryption?
thanks
adam

Take a look at
http://uk.php.net/manual/en/function.crypt.php
It seems that the crypt() function determines the algorithm to use by looking at the length of the salt you provide.
