Hi,

I am looking to create a form that allows users to sign up via the web page. When a user signs up, I want it to create a new user via the password protect directories page. Basically, I want to create automatic sign ups for my site. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks for your time and help! Very Happy

Basically what you would need the script to do is generate the encrypted password (like the script we have here in the Online Tools section) and then append that to the password file referred to in .htaccess (AuthUserFile).

(Moved to Server-Side coding)
