In textareas, as you know, we can put in multiline text-formatted data. Vertically, we can control the 'overflow'. But horizontally, I've tried every way--and FAILED. What should I do in order for the horizontal scroll bar to work as it should (like enabling itself when the text exceeds limit) Question Question Question

You could try putting:
Code:
style="white-space: nowrap;"

in the <textarea> tag

ie
Code:
<textarea style="white-space: nowrap;" cols="20" rows="10"></textarea>

obviously putting whatever attributes you already have in the tag Smile
