Hello,
My problem is with url manipulating. I have url like www.abc.com/mydir/inex.html but don't want to display my mydir in the url.how can i accomplish this?i am using apache 1.3 and tomcat 4.x . In which files i have to make changes? Please reply.

I'm not entirely sure the exact code but mod_rewrite is probably the way to go.
You could start with Daniel's tutorial:
Rewriting URLs with mod_rewrite
There are also numerous topics in the Web Servers forum
