When I was looking for a reasonably priced host that offers unlimited pop3 e-mail and unlimited subdomains, I ran into a Google ad from www.sterlet.net. At first glance, their features and pricing can't be beaten. Too good to be true? It looks like it.
First of all, this company exists for just a few months, which is always a bit risky. Secondly, they feeded fake and pointless domain/owner information into the registrar database. When you look them up in, let's say, register.com, you will see the following information:
owner: root sterlet
email: sterlet@mail.com#0
address: 000 00
city: NJ
postal-code: 00000
country: US
admin-c: sterlet@mail.com#0
tech-c: sterlet@mail.com#0
billing-c: sterlet@mail.com#0

E-mail addresses @mail.com? Sure.... No valid snail mail address? Ahem. And they registered their domain for just one year? If you intend to be around for a while, that's something you just don't do.
Back to *reliable* host hunting,
