Hi All,

I'm looking for recomendations for a newsreader, ideally a stand-alone program, but I'll consider anything if you recommend it highly enough Smile

I use Google, but I know that's not what you're looking for Very Happy

Since Outlook doesn't have a news reader, I have to use Outlook Express, and it ends up being easier to use Google Rolling Eyes

Anyway, good luck in your search Smile

Outlook Express is better than Outlook IMHO. Have Outlook 2003 Final on here (Fully Legal!), and much Prefer Outlook Express 6 for everyday use.

Normally Use google though, as if I'm doing some F2Support Work I'll just bung Freedom2Surf in the search engine for newsgroups, makes things a lot easier and quicker.

Btw, Peter, if your reading this I got a bounce into webmaster@freedom2Support.net as your f2s.com email address is over quota, no idea why I recieved a bounce tho as I didn't send anything.

I'd stay away from outlook and OE, for many reasons (for one, they're so easy to crash - opening a message with certain HTML in it will kill the application)
