Can anyone set me on track. I need to set up a live webcam at home which will run live through broadband 24/7. I have intermediate web/coding experience , cheers, Kevin PS:

What kind of webcam is it? Didn't it come with any such software?

I havn't bought the webcam yet; I'll get one and see what software it comes bundled with. I'll presume from the replies that some webcams come with software that does the job for me.

I have a logitech cam and it came with a nice bit of software including the main one which helps you with setting up a webcam site.

TBH, I didn't much like the software that came with my logitech webcam. I found a nice free software (can't remember where though), that was excellent. Smile

You can use the software that came with logitech w/ your cam. When you use the drivers of your cam. The software is free for download on their site I think.
