Don't slag the design, it's in a very early stage.
What I want to know is though, any way of stopping that scrolling? It's evil!
Thanks |

Nice looking site Justin. Very easy to read and navigate. Quick loading too (I'm on cable). |

Heh, I think Justin just made that bit up about the scrolling...he thot' if he sounded techy enough, we'd be tricked into visiting his site, clicking on all his banners, while he rakes in millions...
Seriously, tho,' very nice, Justin... did you do it all yourself?
And just what DO you mean by scrolling? The closest thing to that description that I've noticed so far was the orange bar below the search field at the top of the page loading over the woman's head for a good while. There were some other bits that seemed to load a bit downwards, like the seven boxes in content area, and esp. ones on the right side, which seemed to wait for the bottom bar to load first before completely drawing themselves. If it's the first (the bar over woman's face), I might have a suggestion, but first I'd like to hear what you meant ...
Two suggestions you might think of trying would be to remove some of the black edges at tops of the blue panels atop the seven boxes. Might give it a little cleaner look.
Other one is to extend the bottom blue panel graphic (w/ the text links) farther to the right, as it ends prematurely at screen sizes wider than 1024 (am at 1280 right now, myself). |

Yeah, I have the same "problem" verto mentions at the bottom of the page.

I get some horizontal scrolling when the window closes smaller than the footer image - even though there is no content there. I imagine it has something to do with the fact you missed the shift key when you tried to type the percent and ended up with a width of 1005 instead of 100% on the last table.
<TABLE BORDER=0 width=1005 cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0 background="images/index_29.jpg"> |

Not sure what you mean about the scolling. I saw no scrolling. |

verto -
Used to have scrolling at 1024x768, is now fixed
Daniel -
Fine, go ahead, but don't tell them Exactly how I got it, as you never know who could be reading this....
Darren -
Fixed. Thanks for that, must have been a typo on my part
How do you think of :
http://www.teensupport.co.uk/terms.php
As a basic normal page design?
Need some help though, at the top left of the main body, can you see that white bit where black should meet black? It doesn't, and I can't seem to make it do it.... |

http://www.teensupport.co.uk/terms.php looks fine, other than the font for the content. (Yes, I'm a pain ) Keep it Verdana like on the rest of the page.
BTW, where is your logo going to go?
Edit: for all those wondering, the design is a bought template |

Yeah, I know, it's currently static HTML, I've got to cut it up into includes, and put PHP in it yet, and CSS, that should be fun!
Logo will go on right hand side of http://www.teensupport.co.uk/images/index_05.jpg
Dunno how I'm gonna create it though! |

Try going from this:
Code: | <TD valign=top width="100%">
<p align="center">
<font face="Verdana">
<IMG SRC="images/index_18.jpg" WIDTH=389 HEIGHT=10 ALT="" align="left"><BR>
</font>
<b><font size="2" face="Tahoma"> Terms Of Use</font></b></p> |
To this:
Code: | <TD valign=top width="100%"><IMG SRC="images/index_18.jpg" WIDTH=389 HEIGHT=10 ALT=""><BR>
<p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Tahoma"> Terms Of Use</font></b></p> |
It seems it was the align="left" in the <img> tag causing the gap, however you need to move the <img> tag outside of the <p> tag otherwise it just centres. Oh and you may as well lose the redundant <font> tags around the image as well |
