hi every one

I would like to use the CNAME directive on DNS server

like this:

domain2.com IN CNAME domain1.com

Is it necessary to indicate domain2.com on domain1.com server (apache config) ?

What will we see in the windows brooser domain1.com or domain2.com) ?

thank you very much

If you are using virtual directories, then you must register domain2.com with apache's config. If you want them to hit the same directory, then no additional config is necessary.
