I have a gz file on my server that I retrieve from an outside web site and need to parse it into an array. While gzfile does exactly that it strips away tabs and other specific characters, is there a way to prevent it from doing so or do I have to use gzread to read the whole file into a variable and then break up the lines?
Can someone tell me how the do this using gzread because I can't seem to be getting it right...
