Well, after years with the same plain and boring (IMO) design, WebHostingTalk has finally got Ravio (ravio.com) to redesign their forums.
The result is not bad, but the forums are now very slow, even though they're running 3 front-end servers now. The search function also has been disabled for the time being.
There are a few things I don't like though:
- The bold topic titles - I find them hard to read - gone
- The topic icons - they need customizing!
- The profile, website, buddy, etc... icons look too high, and are a bit plain
- The animated "new posts" icons. They never stop!
 - gone
- The top menu - text only. I'm all for text only but they're badly sized or something - gone
Other than I find the new design quite nice  . |
