Hello,

The FAQ on the EasyPHP site did not help with this problem.

I installed EasyPHP v1.6 on a Win98SE computer.

The installation went without a problem.

However, when I tried to initialize the program I get a message that the "chkap.bat" file is missing. A path is provided as well,
C:\Program Files\EasyPHP\apache\chkap.bat .

I then downloaded the current manager, unzipped it and replaced the old manager file "easyphp.exe" with the current one.

The "e" with a flashing red dot appears in the systray. I right click on it and then click on "Local Web" as per instructions.

Sometimes I get a blank web page with no address. Most times I get no response.

Do not know what to do.

If I click on the link,
http://localhost/mysql/index.php
I do get phpMyAdmin on my computer to open in a browser window.

Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

EasyPHP is yet another of those easy PHP installation packages (Apache, PHP & MySQL).
