Hi,
I have been looking for a linux based, low cost, web host. I don't want to use BSD based hosts because it is for a church website and the BSD logo is a little demon/devil (OK, it seems like a daft reason - I just don't want to use it). That rules out 34sp (Sorry) and valuewebhosts.com.
I have come up with 2 option (Portland was ruled out from reading this forum!).
1/ http://Cheapukhosting.co.uk who have good comments elsewhere but their servers are based in the USA with www.nac.net.
2/ Web-mania whose website is a little sparse.
Does anyone have any experience to offer please?

I don't have any experience with either of them, but I would recommend ValcatoHosting.com (check out their forums if you want to know why  *ahem*) |
