Just came across this site, and found it quite useful. It shows screenshots of errors on many popular sites, and comments on them. They are ordered by good or bad.

Yeah, I really like their design.

Just looked at useit.com, and I don't think from a useability point of view that's it's that bad. It may not be the most exciting design, but it's not ugly or hard to use...

I think useit.com could be more organised in the way information is placed on the page...

It has a certain 'cleanliness' about it that I can appreciate, and is also fairly well-organized, but visually it puts me off. Image

'Ugly' may not be the right word for it -- probably better would be 'visually disharmonious.'
