hi im really puzzled how the hell do u get people on ur forums i mean like 600 registered users on my forum the only people who join our my mates that i tell so how do u lot get loadz other people to join plz help im really puzzled

Hi,

Things to do:

Make your forum stand out - if it's just like the 1000 other "general chat" forums, it won't grow very much.
Customise the design - if your forum is already nothing special and it looks like all others, same thing will happen as above
Advertise it - search engines, directories (http://www.forum-forum.com for example), website reviews forums (yes, shameless way, but it is a way to get a few more visitors )

There are a lot more, but that's all I can think of now... Smile

having a site with good content to go with the forum is always a bonus Very Happy

Also remember pluggin' is fine w/ most people but spammin' can lead to negetive publicity.

You can publicise (sp) your website here are a few website addresses you can hav a look at for Publicising your forum.

But there is no gaurantee that they will add you, but it is worth a shot.
