You may have recently tried to use the IP Atlas tool available in the Online Tools section of our site.

This has not been working for a number of reasons:
  1. It uses a third-party service called NetGeo to place the IPs on a map, and this service seems to have been down recently.
  2. The script uses CSS to place the "red dot" on the map. However the CSS it was producing was invalid, as it was giving measures without their units (ie: 5 instead of 5px). This has now been corrected.
  3. However there still remains IPs which the script cannot place on a map. This is simply because (to the best of my knowledge), it performs a whois lookup on the IP, so if the whois records are blank, it cannot place it.

Please let me know if you are still encountering troubles with this script.

Same problem for me!!

I installed v1.0 two days ago and I thought that it was a problem with my server! So I came here to 4WebHelp and, unfortunately, I found the same error message!!

I hope they will resolve this matter soon!
