Yeah,
I've filled in the form and am just awaiting for Josh or the support staff to set the account up, whatever happens anyway, it's not going to make much difference if it takes 1 hour or 24 hours, as we've got to let the DNS resolve anyway to be honest.
Least we're getting a month of free hosting out of it. |

lol.
Add to the fact that I haven't been billed for this month either, So I'm not going to complain, I think Paysystems have took me completely off their billing cycle, hope it is like that, as if so, I'll just keep hosting here if I don't have to pay anything! |

Well, I've been told apparentley we're on Verio Bandwidth on this server, and the move will probbably only be temporary until the old server is either repaired, or the new ones are put online on the 20th December.
There is very little space on ANY server on the eCommerceDiscovery Network, Web.ecddns.com was the server which held just over 140GB's worth of data, so it's proving a bit difficult to migrate people accross. People have been moved accross to different servers depending on their account.
They Appologise for it, but the server we are being moved onto is an older server that is in full working order, but is an older server, that is not a great specification. There are no more servers available until December 20th, additional servers have been ordered as of yesterday, and are being sent for co-location tommorow.
Specs are :
CPU : 1GHZ Intel Pentium III
RAM : 512MB
HD : 37.25GB |

Short term I don't really care where it goes I just want it back online.
Then later in the month they can either put us on a decent server or we can make arrangements to take our business elsewhere. I'd rather not be rushed into making that decision just because they have no backup plan for when something goes wrong. Things go wrong, its how you deal with it that matters! |

Yeah, thats the main thing for me at the moment, I'm already sorting out arrangements for a host incase things don't run very smoothly. Probably will be a combination of HostDepartment.com and 34SP for me.
Normally they would have a backup plan, it's just bad luck really that there is not much room about at the moment, there are normally a few servers hanging about that have not been used. He's been having problems with paysystems too, and hasn't recieved any payments for the last few weeks, which probbably explains why I haven't been billed.
I'm sure it'll all turn out fine though. |

PS Darren,
found out earlier when I was doing a search on ecommercediscovery that you had more than one domain pointing to your website, with the actual files showing up, rather than just cloaking or redirecting, how did you do this in H-Sphere? |

EcommerceDiscovery LLC have until 12 Noon tommorow to complete this migration, or I am off, I've had enough, I can't handle this stress much longer, I'm going to cut my losses and quit soon. As the waiting is starting to **** me off to put it bluntly, I want all this out the way, I do have better things to do than wait round on this company, but I don't have much choice at the moment. |

I'm still getting nothing - maybe because the domains haven't changed they stil point to the wrong place:
Quote: | ;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
fancy-rats.co.uk. 1d3h5m39s IN NS ns1.ecddns.com.
fancy-rats.co.uk. 1d3h5m39s IN NS ns2.ecddns.com.
;; ADDITIONAL SECTION:
ns1.ecddns.com. 11h17m23s IN A 205.252.89.144
ns2.ecddns.com. 7h44m1s IN A 205.252.89.145 |
I can't see your sites either Justin.
Also should we now get the control at ecdserver.com ? I still get screen I was getting lastnight.
And certainly no emails from them, |

BluesWeb.co.uk is back and responding for me, I've also got Hadleigh.ws responding, and also freedom2support.net. .co.uk won't be online for some time as I don't have access to the DNS nameservers for it. AFAIK He was setting most of the accounts up between 8am-10am this morning.
Control Panel now works for me, I'll quote the emails I've got : |
