After it's installed. It will not let you change the user name or the password for the admin panel.

The user sections work fine. Any ideas?

After you login as admin have you tried going to Settings then entering the new password and clicking submit?

When I try to change the password from the admin panel.

It let's you change it, it logs you out, tells you to log back in then gives you a permanent failed error or a similar message.
