Well, I prefer Red or Orange Wink

However, the Blue set would be great with the template I'm using Very Happy

With the red faces, they look embarrised all the time. Or they spent too long in the UV tan shops Cool

I can't believe the colour of the smilies could spark such a long topic...

wonder if we could also have the option of using own type of icon set Wink
then the discussion wouldn't have started at first place, forgetting the length Wink

That way we could have 4 themes and 4 smilies icon and 4 interface icon sets creating 64 total themes and eliminating the current need for more themes just to have different smilies or icons

Laughing No, I'm not taking sides with anyone Smile

I'm gonna try different colours out and see how they fit in. Then I'll make my own decision (or with any other team members if they want to choose too Wink).

Maybe I'm just talking to myself now, so pardon me verto if this's off-topic Image, as noone else seems to've mentioned usability, so maybe it belongs in another thread, but when I originally posted this, one reason was because I was having trouble making out the smilies on my monitor in their reddish formations.

My viewing circumstances could very well be putting me at a disadvantage here, as although my eyesight's still pretty sharp, the monitor I'm usually using to check this forum's slightly overrezzed at 1024 x 768 for a 17" tube. So my smilies may very well have anywhere from 20-50% less pixels than those for an average viewer. But I could imagine some visitors might have less visual acuity than my own, so it may be worth a mention.

It's not much hardship for me, as besides this forum's not being heavily trafficked, I don't even come here everyday. And I've gotten used to right-clicking on the smilies that are hard to make out to see what they are ( Wink , Sad , and Confused especially look the same). Anyway, thought I'd throw that into the hat in case it has any play.

OK, so you would prefer yellow or orange, as they're easier to make out?
