Do you think we should install some avatars on these forums?

Well for now, it looks like everyone wants them! I'm going to have to find some that I can use without problem. I think there are some included in phpBB 1.4, but I can't think why they aren't in phpBB 2!

Yes do it,ánd if possible disable the option for people to specify their own on other servers, theres nothing more annoying than people using avawhatsits that are half a meg in filesize :x

If any fight of bandwidth is there, just tell me, I'll host avatars on my server. Speed will be very fast.

I will not enable uploading of avatars, it's too much of a security risk.

The size of avatars is limited I think, so it doesn't matter where the avatar is hosted.

Does anyone know where I could get some good avatars for this board? All the phpBB standard ones are kind of stupid.

Have you tried using the ones from the old version of this board (phpBB 1.4) as there are loads with it?

That's what I meant by "All the phpBB standard ones are kind of stupid.". There aren't any in phpBB 2, I was referring to the phpBB 1.4 ones.

I don't particularly want pictures of partly naked famous people either, because that seems to be what is on most sites.

Doesn't really matter, as long as they're not famous people! Some PC related ones would be good.
