This little beast is really annoying me, I'm running the auto installer for it, and it installs brilliantly, and search.pl works fine, apart from I can't administer the script, as search.pl?mode=admin gives an internal server error, whereas search.pl on it's own works fine, well, It's already installed once on one of my sites, and worked fine, I try doing it on the next one, and I get internal server errors, no matter how many times I try it, I get the same problem.

Any Ideas why it's doing this? If not, does anyone else know of any other good search SCRIPTS (not remotely hosted) that are as good as FDSE?

What does the error log have to say?

Yeah, you have to be careful about that. Our search engine is set to ignore printer friendly pages and the forums Smile.

trouble is the front page is now tightly intergrated with the forums, I bet my host will be loving the fact that the cgi script is indexing 3295 pages!
