I keep getting this error if I send a Private Message on my forum:
Code:
General Error

Failed sending email

I have only just noticed this recently. I know it worked fine before I upgraded it from 2.0 to 2.0.1. The PM's get through to the reciever but it still displays this error. I have the Admin PM Viewer MOD installed. What could be the problem ?

Thanks Smile

Are you using SMTP to send the emails? And did you update the email templates in the language folder?

Look in the language/lang_english/email folder, and make sure there is a
Code:
Charset: ...
line at the top of each file.

I have just tried turing off the board e-mail function. Still the PM comes up with an error.

It seems like host.sk doesn't support mail(). SO, what you have to do is comment out lines with mail() in them. Hopefully that should do it...

Or you could just comment out
Code:
      if ( !$result )
      {
         message_die(GENERAL_ERROR, 'Failed sending email', '', __LINE__, __FILE__);
      }
in emailer.php, and see if your board works...
