Hi
Please throw at me a php script that could be used to create a printer-friendly page.
(Similar to one that is used in www.4webhelp.net/)
Thanks

We aren't actually using a special script. We are using a content management script which allows us to use "templates". We then just use a different template for the printer-friendly version.
Unfortunately, you've used plain old HTML for your site, so without doing it all manually, it isn't possible to have printer-friendly pages. However, for recent browsers, there is an option to use a special style sheet for printing. So you could use this code:
Code: | <div class="menu">Menu</div> |
And then put this in your style sheet (with a media=print attribute):
Code: | .menu { display: none; } |

Thanks, Daniel.
I'll try that.
BTW, I was one of the beneficiaries of your site during my brief sojourn in f2s.com!
And wich CMS do you use. I am presently dabbling with Mambo.
Regards

Actually, it isn't really a CMS, it's just a template class, from PHPLib (see Peter's tutorial for a link). |
