i have a 5 minute flash in 6fps and i found it does not look nice(lagging)
so i wish to increase the frame rate to 18 fps with increase the movie speed.

is the any way to do it w/o inserting 2 frame in every frame manually ?

i am beginner in flash
hope you can give clear instruction.

thank you

The frame rate can be changed in the Document Properties dialogue:

menu: Modify -> Document...

but that will make your animation run quicker so you may need those extra frames to keep the animation running at a reasonable speed.

Hi.
tyjtyj , for future at the begining of flash project set your framerate to 21fps - this I think , optimal solution for web and media.
And as for your problem- the only solution is to increase for example to 12 fps , and to put frames only there, where are shorter pauses or something can be played "longer" for user.
Greet's.

You can speed it up or slow it down by changing the duration of each frame. Frames can have different durations also. Not sure if you can change the duration of every frame globally, after you have created the animation. Youll have to work that out for yourself.
