They put banners on your page.
They delete accounts at random.
They have a TOS which probably makes every possible site a violation.
I wouldn't even recommend it to people who just want to make a small test site...

Totally agree with Lex. Also, what used to happen to me often was that if you want to get onto your account through their File Manager (which is rubbish anyway), you have to go through many sign in pages before they actually realise that you do want to get into your account. Smile

... and the cgi doesn't work and thier lame attempt to be a paid host doesn't even have domain hosting! (You still have to use http://members.tripod.com/USERNAME )
