view using 600 x 800 resolution and firefox
Yes - free software sites are useful - but most are not free (shareware - free to download)
- May want to add navigation - see examples:
http://www.download.com/ - menu left side
http://www.freewarefiles.com/ - site categories
http://www.newfreedownloads.com/ - rt side menu
Note: popular downloads, most recient, etc also menu categories

well ... this is not a free download site ... it is a search engine for downloads
it has the possibility to filter the results by license(Freeware,Shareware,...),by OS ,by category and others
As for the left/right menus and most recent stuff ... I want to keep it simple and the most recent thing ... well this is a search engine, I have yet to see a search engine that shows you what pages it has recently crawled
Seems that you confused this with a 'software download/upload site' which is not. |
