I just installed msn messenger on Windows 2000 Professional and I'm having the exact same problem. When I go to the Sounds page in Control Panel, MSN Messenger is listed but there are no sounds under it to alter. If anyone comes up with a fix, I would sure like to know it. If I find something out, I'll post it. Thanks! |

This is how I fixed the problem:
Cut and paste the following in to notepad, save it as msn_sounds.reg, and then double click msn_sounds.reg in explorer.
