I just downloaded the Xara 3D5 free trail version. I made a graphics peice and do not know how to put it on my website. I use HTML to make websites. I don't know what I should save the file as. I have tried .gif but it does not show up and I do not know what other file types I can have on a website. I just learned HTML so I'm very new to all this stuff. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me.
-Thanks

For an image, use either .gif or .jpg
Use a JPG for things like photographs where there are lots of variations in tone and colour. And GIF for graphics with a more limited colour palette, things with solid areas of colour such as our logo.

Oh and there's also PNG but I don't know much about them...

png is good, and can do transparency nicely.
BUT, it can often be larger in size than a jpg of the same image Sad
