Hey,
I've just started working on my website and wanted to know if you think I am going in the wrong direction. I know that it is lacking in content at the moment, but do you all think the layout is ok etc?

Thanks |

looks good, but the text could do with being a bit bigger; I'm not sure about on all systems, but on mine it's barely readable. also, the logo in the box on the top right repeats a bit - is there any reason it needs to be a background image and not embeded with an <img> tag?
finally, validate your html |

Thanks, what browser are you using and in what resolution?
EDIT: Have also changed the logo thing, does it still repeat now? |

I agree the text is a bit hard to read. Due to a combination of its small size, a fairly light shade of grey, the lack of padding between the text and the borders and the fully justified alignment.
FYI: browser Safari 1.1 - resolution: 1280 x 1024
Oh and the logo no longer repeats for me. |

I'm using MozillaFirebird, on Linux...1024x768
Code: | body {
...
font-size: xx-small;
} |
x-small (or even small) would be better
edit: the logo's fixed here too |

Text is a tad small and a tad hard to read. Like the design, though. |

Anyone know how to change this as I've been wanting to. |

Try increasing the padding value in this class:
.blog{
border: #999999 1px dashed;
padding:2px;
} |
