I live up by Cleveland, Ohio and we lost power for about 8 hours. After the power did come back on we had no water for half the day, then the water came back on but it had very low pressure and we had to boil it to drink it.

I was in Vancover when it happened, but when i got back to my pad in NYC, all the clocks were reset and the food in my fridge had gone bad. Also my phone didn't work because it was tied to a computer system which didn't come back on with the power. That was a real pain

LOL. The phones in the hotel didn't work, cos of the PBX system, but once they unplugged that, and plugged in a ordinary phone, it worked fine (except everyone was calling everyone else, or people just weren't answering (like the UA desk at Newark airport Smile)
